Greetings!  I look forward to discussions with you.  I consider myself civil, and I try to be courteous to the person I'm debating even if that earns me a few dirty glances (I'm told you're not trying to make the person feel good, just to make your point).   So, hopefully you won't leave us for some time!  Even better if you take up residence.  The best if we all gain something from the discussions.   :D

Hi grace, welcome to the forum.  Imo, the members here are very good at acting civilly towards those who have differing viewpoints.  We've had theists come through (and stay) who enjoyed the forum and those who think we are just a bunch of cold hearted atheists.  The favorable vs poor opinion of the forum tends to be respectively weighted to how open minded or trollish the poster is.  You appear to be ready to approach conversation with an open mind and honesty so I think you'll enjoy your experience here.  Since we can't all know everything about everything, I'm sure we'll learn from you just as you will likely learn a bit from us...which is the fun part of discussion.
